STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The mutual association and united action of its membership are to further the life of the soul both in the individual and in human society, and it will endeavor to fulfill its said task by centering its activities on the spiritual science of Anthroposophy, with all that results from it for human brotherhood for moral and artistic life and for the artistic and cultural life of humanity, according to the teachings of Dr. Rudolf Steiner.
In order to further these aims. The Anthroposophical Society in America supports the Rudolf Steiner Library, a mail-order lending library of 20,000 available to the public, publishes a quarterly newsletter; publishes the Journal for Anthroposophy; holds an Annual General Meeting; and sponsors and conducts conferences, lectures, artistic classes and performances which advance public familiarity with the understanding of the world known through Anthroposophy.
