About the weekend
This workshop is based on thirteen soul moods described in eurythmy as visible speech by Rudolf Steiner on June 30th, 1924. The moods were described in gestures and later given color by Dr. Steiner. We would like to explore the gestures in eurythmy and the colors in painting.

Jannebeth will give a general introduction of the soul moods before we start exploring the moods of “Knowledge” and “Commun ication”. Johanna will guide the exploration through movement and Jannebeth through painting. (Note: If you would rather use pastels or colored pencils instead of water colors, please bring your own materials.)

about our speaker
Jannebeth Röell is a member of the Portland, Oregon branch. She received her BFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena CA and before that she was for 15 years an RN in the Tobias Clinic, an anthroposophical outpatient clinic in the Netherlands. Her experiences as an anthroposophical nurse and artist are often shared with others through art and home healthcare workshops across the country. She practices art therapy and is teaching in the Eugene foundation year of teacher training.
about our eurythmist
Johanna Mueller-Laurelin is a widely acclaimed eurythmist who performs with stage groups in Europe and the U.S.A. An experienced eurythmy teacher in Waldorf schools and eurythmy schools, she is a teacher and co-director in the San Diego WISC program. Johanna attended a Waldorf school from kindergarten through high school.

COST
No pre-registration is required for this day-long conference, but we request $25 to cover materials and other expenses ($15 for WISC students).
