The Emmaus Branch is launching a new website and quarterly newsletter with the purpose of reflecting the larger community that is connected on some way to anthroposophy, via Waldorf education, anthroposophical medicine, biodynamic farming, eurythmy, the arts, etc.
We would like to include a listing of initiatives--for profit, nonprofit, individual--and are wondering if you have something you'd like included. Below (right) is a draft of what I have collected so far. I am looking for contributions to this list with details of what kind of contact information you'd like included:
• Name and website only?
• Name of initiative, name of contact person, email address, mailing address and phone number, and website?
You can decide how you'd like your initiative mentioned...if you'd like to have it included in the list. If you're listed below and prefer not to be, please let me know.
We also are going to be featuring a calendar of events. I am seeking events in September, October, November and December. Please send events you'd like us to list. For example, I recently learned about a biodynamic wine tasting October 1. This is a good format to follow for your information:
• (Title of Event) Biodynamic Wines: The Ultra-Terroir
• Date: Thursday, October 1
• Time: 6 pm to 7:30
• Location: Waterford Wine Company (address please)
• Cost: $30 per person, credited towards a six bottle purchase
• Format: Seminar, RSVP required
• A brief description if helpful
• A contact person for more information
Of course, it's important, too, that we list the study groups available in our area. Please let me know:
• what you call your study group
• when and where you meet and
• what content you're working with between now and the end of December
• if, when and how you accept new members
We would also like to include poetry, artwork, favorite Steiner verses, etc. Feel free to email pdf, jpeg, and Word files.
