Initiative
anthroposophical Initiatives
Rudolf Steiner's work was concerned with the whole human being. There are many initiatives arising out of anthroposophy besides The Society, all of which are independently organized and led.
These include Waldorf schools, teacher training colleges and programs, medical and therapeutic practices, Camphill communities, biodynamic farms and gardens, artistic trainings, publishers, bookstores, and their respective associations. Here we include those that are actively engaged with The Society in quarterly meetings and conferences throughout each year.
Our highest endeavour must be to develop individuals who are able out of their own initiative to impart purpose & direction to their lives.

The Christian Community
We are an independent community centered around the seven sacraments in a renewed form, without attachment to any existing church or ecumenical movement. Through His indwelling in the sacraments, Christ replenishes our life in community, which in turn offers us the opportunity to find and connect our lives with His regenerating impulse. Christianity is seen as universal; sectarian teaching or dogmatic behavioral codes demean its all-encompassing significance. From its inception in 1922, the questions of gender and sexual orientation have never been criteria for deciding who can be ordained into the priesthood or participate in all aspects of community life.
